Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out. I have a Minolta Dynax 500si Super film camera and would like to get a new lens for it, one with a bigger zoom, current one is only 35-70. I have heard in that the lens are interchangeable but have no idea what i should be looking for to ensure this, any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

Pretty much all lenses made for Minolta Dynax/Maxxum mount or Sony a mount. You will have to settle for non-SSM and non-DT lenses though.
That being said, what are looking for? Wide angle zoom? Wide-angle to short telephoto? Short to medium/long telephoto?

I just bought a Minolta 75 - 300 from Morgan Cameras.
They also have many others I think they are Dynax/Sony compatible.
But you will need to ring them as they are not easily visible on their website. Try changing the ProductID = around this range
