Went back today to see if the swans came back. Only six came back today but, they came a little closer. I am not happy with any of the pictures. What do you think??

Nicely exposed swans!

sparkie, good images, I particularly like the third one, but I am just a bit curious...these look a lot like the Trumpeter swans that migrate through our part of the Western Prairies in late April on their way to Northern Canada for the summer. Is that what they are?

Good question I don't know. I just knew thew were swans. I never seen that many all in one palce so it might be. I also never see them there in the summer. I will do a search and see.
Thanks
Frank

I just checked I think they are either Mute Swans or Fossil Swans. The Trumpeter Swan has a black bill.

they are all mute swans.

Trumpeter swans are a western species for the most part with a rare vagraint one showing up elsewhere.
