I think this kind of shot has to be tack sharp and have perfect lighting.

This subject has all the makings of a pretty good photo. If you can re-shoot, do it again but much closer. I would have made one of the ice crystal patterns the full frame image. Pretty interesting however. Can't imagine living where you do.
