Please - is it an interesting photo or boring again ?

Here are Polish poppies and some other weeds that grow in our wheat-fields.

This is one of the photos that can always put my spirit up :)

I like the tonal values. It's peaceful, sort of an impressionist subject (something you would see in a French impressionist painting). There are a few issues, however. I think you would be better to have not centered the main flower like it is here. Also, I wish I could see more of the background in the distance, letting it fade away.

Overall, a nice shot and not boring at all.

This is very beautiful flowers. But I think it'd be better to make one poppy bigger and and others smaller... like foreground red spots on green grass. The biggest one gonna be like main object. It should be sharpen.
I'm sorry... Now it's looking like mix of colors... Good luck! :)

Thanks for your comments :)
It was the next picture in the series "Wild Polish nature" but more colourful :)

I have tried to shoot one poppy then (like you are advising me here) but it was immpossible because of strong wind. So I managed to shoot 3 poppies. Yes - the background should be improved too. Now, I can see that :(
But a lot of colours at least :)

PS. My idea of shooting this picture was "Still many colourful flowers in Polish fields" :)

I hope to shoot better photo with poppies next summer :)

I know... the strong wind is a serious problem. Just try it next summer in calm day. :)
Yes, I agree... This is colorful picture, bright and pleasant. :)

Hello Irina :)

Yes - now I can see that AT LEAST I should have got closer to the first poppy to have more background with other colourful poppies. ... hmmm... at this moment too much "empty" space at the frontground of the photo and too "short" bakground somehow...

I think, however, that watching other pictures/comparing my work with others can only help me :). But the way - do you have a picture that could be a pattern to me in the future for such situations? I can guess you are much better photographer than me so it would be really nice of you to help me with any suitable pattern :)

Thanks in advance :)
