Hi everyone, this is my first post so I hope I'm not repeating a question already asked so here goes. After I print out pictures on my lexmark inkjet printer, what could I use to protect them from water smearing? The reason I ask is, my son took some pictures to school one morning when it was raining and they smeared badly. There has to be something I can use to seal them right?

Welcome to the Forum.

I have read that some people will spray a light coat of a clear acrylic over over their prints. Krylon makes a product called Preserve It for just this purpose.

Other than that, I would use a simple photo album with plastic (PVC free) sleeves.

If putting the photos in plastic sleeves, let the photos sit out evernight. Even though they look and feel dry, if they don't sit out long enough, they may stick to the plastic.
