Heres a few pics i snapped today while doing field work... in the snow!

might need to retake this one with a tripod, looks like it could use a lower iso, and more sharpness.

Found this guy about 20 feet off the road, and maybe 30 feet up.... with my 135 (plus 1.5X crop) its still way to short... i need a good zoom.

tried panning with him as he flew away but this is all i got... i was trying to creep forward as he left so i wasn't quite ready...

Awesome find with that owl!

Those are some sensual mushrooms. I like the first one.

heh thanks guys i appreciate your comments.... its a shame i have to hike 6 miles every day for a week every month here... (j/k)

i see owls about once a trip down here, usually pretty close, but not close enough to get great pics with out another lense.

i scared up about 20 turkeys overall today, they flew up in to trees and sat there, but again no lense.

i was trying to draw the attention to the moss in front of the shrooms in the last pics btw. but i guess they were to close to blurr the shroom propperly.
