Hi. My sister seems to be getting light leaks on some of her photos. Opening the back cover of her SLR, I see that inside the vertical edges foam sealant has dissolved into a sticky gunk. What do you recommend to use as replacement? Thank you.

I can't recommend Jon Goodman's seal kits enough! Come with complete instructions and more than enough to do several cameras. I purchased this kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Finest-Complete-Camera-Light-Seal-Foam-Kit-PROOF_W0QQitemZ110188317690QQihZ001QQcategoryZ3003 8QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and so far did seals and mirror foam on my Nikkormat and seals on my Canonet and have PLENTY left to do a few more cameras. Here's a complete list of his current auctions. (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZinterslice) He also has a site set up with instructions on how to do a lot of different cameras. CLICK HERE (http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/sealreplacement.html) for his instructions site. He's also very quick to answer questions and very helpful. Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes and have your sister stop in and check out the new Film Forum that will be added soon here at PR
