Yesterday suddenly I can turn the camera on but none of the buttons work: I can't take pictures. Only the on/off works and the dial: I can change the mode. Any help highly appreciated

Have you tried removing the battery and then putting it back in? Sometimes that will reset the camera and solve mystery electronic problems like you're describing. Also, if the battery charge is too low, it may only have enough power to turn on but not enough to do anything else. So try recharging the battery if you haven't already. You might also try another memory card in case there's a conflict there. If none of those things work, I'm afraid you'll have to take it in and let Panasonic take a look at it. It's a recent camera so I expect the warranty is still in effect?
