I just bought a sony sr-82. I like it so far. Picture quality when in good lighting conditions is excellant.
I also bought the pinacle editing software, has anyone used this with hard drive camcorders.

Any tips on this would be appreciated.

The pinnacle is a great product and should work fine with your camera. I haven't used the software in a few years so I can't give any tips other than read the manual and have fun.

unfortunately the last time i used a pinnacle app was back in the days of studio 8, as with MJS, I don't see why you would have a problem. Pinnacle's products tend to be quite intuitive to grasp. Even the disfunctional kids i was teaching at the time picked it up ok. have fun.

Or in my case, the dysfuncitonal teacher.
