This is a 1920 Cadillac, owned by Chuck Braswell of Banning. He's showing it off at our first "Cruisin' Ramsey" event, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce that I work for.

Most of you have probably grown up seeing this car (but not in this color) on a popular comedy sitcom aired from 1962 to 1971. I'd give you a hint but it would be a dead give away if I did. Oh what the heck...I'd better give a hint because the car is slightly modified from when it was on tv. Here it is:

"bubblin' crude"

I'll have more pics of cars to share tomorrow, but I thought I would start off with a little guessing game. Shouldn't be that hard, folks.

Reminds me of a picture I took when I saw a wedding happening in a local church. The car, which was waiting outside to transport the happy couple, was the old roller used in "Darling Buds of May" - might not mean a lot to you US friends, but it was the UK series which launched the career of Catherine Zeta Jones, of serious sexiness fame :D

One question: where's Granny? :p

Cheers
Mike

You got it! The original Beverly Hillbillies car. You win a free serving of possum stew, LOL.

Here's a few more pics from our first cruising night. I also shot about 7 frames on my Canonet using Kodak Portra 160nc, but I won't have this roll back for another couple weeks.

Here's a couple more that I liked. Anybody remember the Cosworth Vegas? I haven't seen a Vega since the mid 80's! Such neat cars. Converted to b/w in my RAW editing software.
