Annual Jazz & Rib Fest in downtown Columbus this past weekend. Couldn't have picked a more spectacular weather to be out and about in.

Oh, I can't forget these two young ladies. They were well received.

Looks like good times with good food and music. I love stuff like this but end up taking pics so much, I miss out on what's happening.

Frog, I tell you I could have stayed all day shooting, eating, drinking, and listening. But I had the entire family with me so I was reminded of my duties :)

Thanks!

Hey that looks like my kind of fun. Love that smoke coming out of those cookers. Three of the kids are coming home this weekend and I'm firing up the smoker. Plenty of pork BBQ and beef brisket to go around. Let the good times roll!!

Ahh you lucky fool!

I wanted to go to that to shoot it, but I couldn't get out there.

Not being able to drive sucks. :(

Image one makes me think... a very small crowd ? Big city mood. Small town feel.I like this shot alot! Thanks

OT - thanks for looking. Count me in at your party :p

Tel - perhaps next year. Although the weather probably won't be as good as it was this year (the organizers think that this year set an attendance record due to it).

starriderrick - thanks for looking!

a few more pixs:

Nice shots and glad you had fun. The slabs on the grill is my favorite one. It's almost midnight and I'm getting hungry just looking. I blew it this last weekend. Up here in Clevetown, we had the Dew Tour going on. I had a couple buddies competing so I could get up close and personal with the action and guess what? I opted to leave the camera at home so I could just hang out. It was an amazing day and I missed a great opportunity...point is, glad you didn't do the same!

Tel - thanks again. I like that shot too.

namasste - well at least you did have a good time up there even without camera. I try to never be without a camera of one kind or another nearby - I even drive just about everywhere with a complete dSLR kit in the back seat. Often, the wife's Sony PS in a shirt pocket is good enough (although these shots are with the Canon 30D). Thanks for looking!
