Something you may never have seen, I had only heard of them.

These are vintage World War II and were included in C-Rations. The plastic case has obviously yellowed with age and whether they were supplied with every pack or not isn't clear. The person who showed them to me has had them for 35+ years and were handed to him by the veteran who brought them back. They were originally presented as sort of a gift to celebrate the current owners quiting the habit.

Thanks Dana. There's apparently been discussion about actually opening the container. If so I want to see how the cig is marked. Some of those 'war' cigarettes had unusual logos on the paper itself.

I wonder if there are many of these unopened anywhere? Very rarely did anyone NOT finish a pack.
