Dylan8i 05-02-2007, 07:08 PM whats your location? and environment found in? its not any we have here in the north east. i can get my field guide later if i didn't leave it at school jfelbab 05-02-2007, 07:34 PM West of Milwaukee, WI. A very rural setting, lots of prairie and ponds along with a lot of hardwood forest. These frogs were found around my fountain and rock garden. They are about two inches end to end. A couple tighter shots. http://web.mac.com/jfelbab/iWeb/Site/Critters_files/PICT4118_2.jpg http://web.mac.com/jfelbab/iWeb/Site/Critters_files/PICT4195_3.jpg Besides the interesting colorations they have very intricate eyes. Dylan8i 05-02-2007, 07:51 PM well i don't have my best herp book at home, but the only thing that looks similar is the gray tree frog, did it have toe pads? because normally you only find them at night.... but i'm not sure what else it would be.... wish i had my better book here. Sushigaijin 05-03-2007, 07:49 AM indeed that is a grey tree frog. jfelbab 05-03-2007, 12:28 PM Thank you. |
