Ok, so I decided to purchase a new digital...after looking at many and reading many mixed reviews, how do i decide? Most reviews are great on a camera but then one or two are really bad....how do people decide?
thanks:confused:

Here http://www.dpreview.com/ and these forums are pretty much the only places I read reviews.
Why? Because they don't sell cameras!
The first is good for technical/professional review. Here, for real people reviews.\
I'll look a bit at other places but these two tell me everything I need to know.
Then I pay special attention to who is selling what I want and their record and reviews.

Almost every digital camera out there is good. Bad comments will always out number good comments. When someone has a problem, they scream about it everywhere all the time. No one writes "My camera is still great" every day.

Stay with major brands, handle them in a store, and buy the one that feels right to YOU.
