Thanks again for your email regarding the K10D. Decided to buy a K10D and start collecting some glass. Until the two DA star zooms come in. I really love primes so I want to purchase some and was wondering if you could comment on the following.

FA 77 limited
FA 31 limited
DA 21

I'm a working pro that still does some photojournalism (stringing) stuff for some papers, then mainly portrait and publication work. When I get some time street photography.

Hello Chuck;

As I haven't received the 31 Limited as yet, should have it next week, I cannot comment on the 31 nor the 77. I do own the 21, 40 and 70. I will say this though. I did the whole "Diva" fashion shoot exclusively with the 40 Limited for all of the fashion and the Pentax 100 DA Macro for all of the still life. I suggest you purchase the lens from a reputable dealer. If there is a BF or FF issue with the 21 you can exchange it. I had my original one replaced and the new one is fine.
