I've been looking at this lens since Hodgy picked it up a while back. He was saying what a great deal it was, and how great the lens worked. While I am under no misconceptions that it will give me Hodgy pics, so far I just love it.

She's throwing a tiny stuffed dog up in the air. Wish I'd gotten her fingers in the second :(

That lens was the first Canon item I bought. :)
The 50mm f/1.8 is a steal in ANY brand's line, sharp, fast and small.
Great pic Adina. Have you tried getting real close and shooting wide open yet?

Adina, I just love your children's photos. You have such a talent for bringing out the best in them! These would look great in a 3-picture frame. Thanks for sharing your beautiful daughter! :)

although we're in the yard, so all that's in the bg is grass. Or weeds, but I like to call it grass.

Thank you. Somedays it seems like that's all I shoot :)
What's nice is these are only resized and converted. No post-sharpening at all :)

With all of the latest-greatest lenses, there still is nothing like the good 'ol 50/1.8. Excellent images, as usual, Adina.
These are adorable Adina! I need to go to B&H soon to sell some other lenses, and I have a feeling that I'll be leaving with this lens. I've been thinking about it for a while and for the price, there's really no reason not to get it. Thanks for giving me further inspiration!
