I hope when I get used to my camera and computer systems I will be able to post some of my hummingbirds and bluebirds. I was able to capture a bluebird in our birdbath and a hummer mid flight at our feeder. Just haven't learned how to download to post yet. any pointers?

Great looking frogs, I am REALLY surprised we don't see more of them here, since they don't mind sitting still for a second while photographers scramble to get everything perfect...Time to brush off the tubes yet?

I would suggest resizing your photos to a managable size, 640x480 is pretty standard, although I prefer to just use 700 pixels as the longest axis. This keeps image size small enough so that people won't have to scroll to see the whole thing. Also save as a jpg, and compress. I usually compress to about 125k, although that too is personal preference.

Next, upload your photos to the gallery. You can get there by looking under the BRIGHT GREEN "share" tab located at the top of the page. Once your shots have been uploaded, you can embed them in a post by clicking the little yellow and green icon that looks like a mountain, above the box that you write in. A window will pop up, where you enter the URL of the photo. Get that by right clicking your uploaded photo, click "properties" and copy and paste the URL. Sounds difficult because there are a lot of steps, but it really is EASY.

that's too bad...tripod and shutter release might be an option, although I've heard that many DSLRs weigh OVER 2 lbs :D thats just CRAZY! :p

seriously though, if it looks like the hand might be down for a while, there are some pretty serious P&S cameras out there...check out the macros from this one!!
