btw....those pansies didn't stand a chance. She ripped the heads off each and every one of them, and left it lying in the leaves.

What a darling puppy.I remember when my akita was a pup, then 35+ lbs. in 5 weeks... the back yard was a tornado zone.hahaha.
She is priceless. What did you name her? Your daughter is very happy I can see.

Great Thread, an excellent way to start 2007.

Beautiful images of a girl and her first love. My daughter brought her new puppy home for Christmas. A Boston Terrier named Samson. We all fell in love with him.

Dog's name is Gingerbread. Training is going okay, all things considered. Right now, she is really good at not peeing in the house, which is mostly due to an egg timer. We take her out about every half hour. Other than that, we're working on coming when she is called, and trying to convince her that her crate is a fun place to be.

We've got a few books, and have done a lot of reading online, and everyone and thier brother has been telling us what to do. We figure plenty of patience, and more stubbornness than she has, and we should be okay.

Nice pics Adina, I too like the first and especially the third.
However, training will take a long time. Just be glad you don't have one like mine who has chewed up over $700 worth of stuff. She grew so much that well, now I can't get things high enough to keep her out of them. Her most recent victims were a third cell phone charger (no phone THIS time) , and a PS2 controller, and two phonebooks. I walked in just as she was trying to get to the old 1D.....guesss she didn't notice the new one sitting on the chair in the open
All that while I was outside for 15-20 minutes........at least she hasn't chewed any power cords lately....but it's just a matter of time. And the "anti chew sprays do NOT work with her!

What kind do you have?

She's been doing pretty good, although I keep threatening her with being made into mittens if she gets into my shoes. Mostly, she prefers fingers though...

She's almost house trained, or rather, she's got us trained. We're up to every half hour she goes out, as opposed to 10 min.

Charles, she is getting big. Turned 8 a few months ago. I think she was maybe 2 when I found this site...
