View Full Version : Some Fall Images lanysimage 11-09-2006, 06:25 PM Hey everyone I would like to know what you think about some of my photos. paulnj 11-09-2006, 07:01 PM The copyright size is distracting and ruins them for me  I am not trying to be mean at all, but that is the first thing I see in the image and my eyes keep going back to it. WELCOME to PR and keep those images and questions coming!!!!! I have been up 17 hours, so bare with me :) PMW518 11-09-2006, 07:08 PM I like them, its nice to see some more fall colors, almost all the leaves are off trees here so thers isn't a whole lot left of the colors for this year. But, I also agree with paulnj in that the copyright is a little distracting, maybe if it was slightly smaller or even try a semi transparent type. lanysimage 11-10-2006, 03:55 AM Sorry I had so many copyright images on there.. I will post some without them later on. Thanks for the good comments I really appreciate them! Loupey 11-10-2006, 07:09 PM Hey, there! Welcome! Please take this constructively, but your images seem to lack a central focus/subject. A wall of color is nice (and sometimes works great) but generally you need to direct the viewer's attention to a specific area. Think of looking at a scene as a page full of words. Recording it "as is" can be confusing. Your job is to organize it into a easily digestible chunk :) Hope that helps! Please keep posting. Jaedon 11-11-2006, 08:08 AM I personally love the one with the bridge.. but I find the chain link fence to the right of the image distracting. Cropping out that fence and leaving the bridge off center to the right would give it a bit more appeal to me anyway. lanysimage 11-18-2006, 05:33 AM Thanks everyone. i have been busy and sick all week. i will try and get back to post some more of my images soon. Ronnoco 11-18-2006, 04:21 PM Just a legal point. Copyright is automatic and does not need to be indicated on a work, in order to apply. Ronnoco paulnj 11-18-2006, 05:28 PM Good point, but putting a small nonintrusive one give one peace of mind. I see no point in it myself on web images, but that's just me. |
