i know what Raw is and how to shoot it, but i have no idea on how to edit this, i havnt even tried yet. do you need a certian program? is it hard? and whats the diffrence between editing a Raw file and a Jpeg

Your camera would have come with it's proprietary RAW converter software. There are third party programs and also Photoshop CS has its own converter.
