I took quite a few photos at a nearby state park over the summer. I found a remote area with several fields surrounded by woods and captured a number a birds. I just started going thru a pile of them and labeling them with the species name. I posted the ones here that i'm having trouble identifying for sure.
What do you make of these Paul, or anyone else? :)

This one i thought at first was a white-throated or white-crowned sparrow, now I'm thinking maybe a worm-eating warbler? These were taken in July, and not the greatest shots so maybe its too hard to tell:

This looks like a female house finch, I saw several in the area but no males. Taken also in July. However it has something funny hanging over its beak on its face, though kind of hard to tell in the pics:

Sorry these aren't any better, it was a thickly wooded area and many of them were hard to get close enough to. Its the kind of place where you need to spend alot of time sitting and waiting patiently, not to mention I'm wishing I had more than my current 300mm focal length. :p

Here are some more, all taken July/August:

This is a pretty bad shot here but the best i was able to get. There were several of these birds fluttering around some bushes for a while and I haven't been able to find them in any of my guide books:

This one sat on this branch for a while and didn't move from its position till it hopped out of sight into the trees - a young eastern towhee maybe?

This one i identified as an eastern wood-pewee, wanted to see if anyone can confirm it?

That could be a worm eating, but my first thought was redbreasted nuthatch. Hard to tell from that image.

The last 2 are indigo buntings

The first is very tough, but MAYBE it's a young thrasher?
The second is a fledgling sparrow , but I an unsure of which one. I don't think it's a towhee though.

Definately a eastern wood pewee

I've got some more shots of mystery birds, unfortunately most aren't that good and would be hard to id the birds. If I find any good enough i'll post them.
Thanks for the id help, Paul.
