Sounds like Congratulations are in order!

Be careful of the contract for things particularly like assignment of rights. You should get at least some payment for every usage of any image, retain all rights, and be credited.

drg, good advice, I've already read the contract, and received the offer. The next step is waiting for the writers to add their bit, then after I review that, if I approve, it's a done deal, and check will be in the mail. I'm so excited.

Hey, where's my beer, man!

The image is going to be used on a greeting card. If things keep going the way they have been, it won't be long before we can roll into town and have that beer. Best of all, I may be able to leave that $%^#*@ photo lab. :D

It has been an exciting time lately, and in all honesty this photo selling was a surprise, as it falls well short of being a great shot. Guess sometimes the content is more important.
