Where I've had a great weekend.
Apart from the 18 hours driving to get here (7 hour trip).
And the rain.
Company sponsorship of the race did not extend to track access :(
But we did get VIP hospitality for the race, so it was an excellent trip :)
Personally I would have starved and had track access - but my wife was happy in the hospitality !

Euphony operated a skybox, basically a platform with 20 chairs lifted by crane to about 80 feet above the track. I should have made more use of it ...

Thanks!
Have you got any photos to share with us?

I plan to go to the DTM final at Hockenheim this year, so hope to get more good shots there.

I really like the small shot of them going through the curves.

As a side note, a pink 911, and a lime green Vette? Yuch!!

Got to love the guts of a driver that will climb into a pink Porsche. Nice job as usual SW.

I'd agree there, Jerez F1 testing ?
Bigger car is better, closet is better, but that second photo looks way too close :)
Were you leaning over the wall to get that one?

I didn't take any at the end of the pit lane under the spaceship, looks like I should have done.
Nor did I go to the pit lane entry, I was too busy trying to get around the problems with my lens and new body :(
Don't think I'll get the chance to go there again unfortunately.

Not just pink, but painted up with cuts of meat, for a butcher I think !
There is a driver of the surname Pinkney in the BTCC series, guess what colour his car is?

Don't knock it, they finished 3rd in that corvette, and 7th overall in that porsche.
