From Thursday 24/8 edition, page 9.
A really great image on that page by Martin Chaney of a row of 3 swallow chicks with gaping maws, and an adult perched on the edge of the nest. With an inset of feeding one of the young.

"Are you an amateur photographer who has taken a stunnign wildlife picture?
Send your shots to the Daily Mail and the best entry will receive £500 of camera equipment.
Entries should be emailed to wildlifepictures@dailymail.co.uk
The closing date for entries is August 31.
The winner will be picked by a panel of judges. The editor's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into."

No mention of rights, usage, what you win ... so enter at your own risk

I didin't see anything in the newspaper, I was out of the country at the time (Zolder 24 hours) so I dropped them an email.

Also found a few hints here http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/
... where two members have had pictures published.

In Today's Daily Mail (12th Oct) there is a double-page spread of photos.

Bev, joining the Wild About Britain site and getting active in their Photography section might be good for you :)
And for them, bring some of them over here to see the wilder world :D
