Instead I thought it would be cool to get your interpretation of: DRAMA almo 08-08-2006, 07:05 AM I am gonna start it off with an image I caught on the way home from North Carolina. This was somewhere in central Georgia. I don't know how it started, but it's pretty clear how it ended. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a183/almoagain/D60/Misc/CRW_7189.jpg payn817 08-08-2006, 08:25 AM Great image Almo! Drama is a great theme, looking forward to everyone's posts. Alison 08-08-2006, 10:41 AM It's funny you know almo. As soon as I saw DRAMA the first thing I thought of was my oldest daughter. She is a Drama Student and is in Edingburgh doing a production with her College, as we speak. Your image is fanatstic and another side to drama that hadn't even entered my head. Superb photography almo. By the way, do you ever let yourself win the POTM ? LOL almo 08-08-2006, 11:35 AM Wow thanks for the comments ya'll Ali, That is a great shot of your oldest. I love her, I'm smart AND pretty look... No I do not let myself win, that would be a conflict of interests. Besides, I would rather celebrate the art of a fellow than laud my own work. :) payn817 08-08-2006, 12:04 PM Nice photo Alison. I got to get busy... :) Liz 08-08-2006, 03:36 PM Whoops!!!! Liz 08-08-2006, 04:01 PM Almo, This is a great project topic - excellent - and it leaves it wide open for creativity! Hmmmmmm....I also made a discovery - I have mostly "quiet, silent, peaceful" images. Guess I have to go find something that fits...... Liz Axle 08-09-2006, 11:19 AM Interesting topic, and great images so far. I may have to look in the archives for something. Or I could get some this weekend at the UE meet. you never know! almo 08-09-2006, 12:27 PM Here is another from my North Carolina trip. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a183/almoagain/Vacations%20-%20Events/CRW_7104.jpg Jaedon 08-09-2006, 02:55 PM Little bit of Zoo drama http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/9171/1010283fg3.jpg payn817 08-09-2006, 05:11 PM A DRAMAtic guitar solo... :D Seriously, don't know if it fits, but owell... Liz 08-09-2006, 05:25 PM It fits! I love the diversity of the images so far! That's what makes it fun. I wasn't sure mine fit, but decided to post it anyway since I discovered I have no "dramatic" photos. Nice image btw. Liz A DRAMAtic guitar solo... :D Seriously, don't know if it fits, but owell... Liz 08-09-2006, 05:27 PM I really enjoyed your images, Axle! Very interesting expressions......makes me wonder about the stories behind the photos. I hope you post some more. I have to go out and find some drama to post.......:D Liz payn817 08-09-2006, 06:05 PM This one is from the Miss Outstanding teen pageant. #1 - girl doing a ballet piece for her talent #2 - Former Miss Outstanding Teen getting ready to step aside #3 - Crowning of the new MOT Axle 08-14-2006, 04:29 AM http://alcsnet.com/dark-playgrounds/expo/edgar/images/photo19.jpg All the base is a stage and all the explorers mearly players. Drama is not just limited to one stage or type of stage. Each of these has their own dramatic moments.....but all led to some "hot heads" one way or another JS OBie 08-15-2006, 03:02 PM Guess where I was last week . . . I think these work for 'drama'. If it was, I'm assuming Madison? Saw it on the news. adina 08-31-2006, 02:22 PM dug out an old one... masdog 08-31-2006, 07:30 PM was this just recently? If it was, I'm assuming Madison? Saw it on the news. Nope...its not that recent and it wasn't in Madison. This was from a rally in Fond du Lac on Veterans Day 2005. mjs1973 09-01-2006, 04:03 AM was this just recently? If it was, I'm assuming Madison? Saw it on the news. Yes, this was the Madison rally/protest you saw on the news Adina. I went up early to get some shots of the farmers market, then hung around to try to get some shots of the nazi's and the protesters. After that I headed to Olbrich Botanical Gardens for some flower & butterfly shots. The nazi rally was... interesting. You couldn't hear a word they said over the protesters, which was fine with me. Lots of cops in riot gear, and lots of very interesting people. A few minutes after the nazi's came out to start their protest, it started to rain so I put my camera away. I didn't get many shots I liked, but it was an interesting experiance. |
