fortunately Kasey walked away from this hard hit during the race.
These are two of 34 shots of this wild wreck. A number of these shots were sent to papers so I can't post them. One even shows the weights coming out from under the car as well as other parts. In the top shot here you can see one weight flying under the center right side of the car.

Thanks.... I was just about to put the camera down when I saw trouble coming. A lot of shooters already bailed from the corner or were putting their gear away when the crash occurred.
There are shots from all four days racing in "Day 1 of 4" thread too, including one just as Kasey hits the wall.

This is so funny (Not Kasey's wreck but) my first thought as I was watching the race and saw this wreck was I wonder if John was in that corner. Great catch on the wreck of the day.

I missed the whole race due to having to work to pay for my NASCAR habit next weekend.
Thanx for the shots all weekend JS you gave me something to look forward to =)
Awesome catch on Kasey's wreck too. must've been the old pro inside you telling you .. the fat lady hasn't sung yet... don't put away the gear =)

Sweet shot!
We all love to see a good crash- just as long as nobody gets hurt.
So if the shots you submitted to the papers don't get printed, are you then allowed to post them?

jorgemonkey,
Yeah, shots they don't run I can post....normally, only I sent the ones they didn't use to some other publications
Jay,
I have seen enough races at Indy to know that even under caution things happen there, same with the last lap as well.
OT
Yup, I picked the right spot again :) - funny, I was thinking OT, Masdog and a few others would have loved to be there getting those shots too.

Not sure how this will look at 640 but hey I figured I'd give a "shot". I hadn't made one of these up so I was just playing around.
You can see the developement of the crash through this though.
