Jurgen, I saw this in critique too, and really liked it. :) The red of their legs and beaks is great against the grey and white.

Well, since you posted in critique(I have very little time for other forums) I will help you with this image :wink:

The angle is perfect for the suject, except the tail is blending with the BG. Might I suggest opening the shadows slightly to seperate a bit more.

Had the front gull been looking a bit more towards the camera the lighting would be more pleasing on it's head(drawing attention to it's eye)

Hind sight is always 20/20 and I think you did a fine job (no helping the blown highlights without serious raw work)

When you venture over with the nerd herd you come loaded for bear. Nice image. Good to see you posting over here.
