I took this today down on the banks of the Kalix river, Sweden.

I was rowing the boat up the river to a little island to try and get so birds in flight when I came across this common sandpiper. I was hoping that it might play ball and move over to the left a little more and from behind the branch, but it wouldn't/didn't.
