Considered one of the best country music festivals in the country, Country USA has entered its 11th year, the last at its current site just north of Oshkosh Wisconsin. Headliners for this year's event, which ran from June 20-25, included Gretchen Wilson, Rascal Flatts, and Toby Keith.

Some of these aren't my best work, but they're fun so I thought I would share.

Security

During Thursday's Rascal Flatts Concert, security had a hard time controlling the crowd, and people crammed into the aisles so they could hear better. To prevent that from happening during the remaining concerts, the event beefed up security and controlled the flow of traffic down aisles.

Cool pics Sean. I had a bit of a country weekend myself. I saw Craig Morgan, Sawyer Brown and The Charlie Daniels Band Thursday night in Richland Center at their annual Star Spangles Celebration. (http://www.starspangled.com/) I left my camera at home tho, and just went to enjoy the show. The place I went to has an aisle fenced off for anyone who wants to take photos. Just get in line, and walk right up to the stage and start shooting. Does Country USA do it that way too? Josh Turner also played in Richland Center this weekend, but we only went on Thursday night. Looks like County USA has some bigger headliners and stars playing and I bet they put on a good show.

On a country music side note, my uncles band is opening up for Aaron Tippin at the Lafayette County fair on July 7th.

Michael,

No, Country USA doesn't allow anyone to walk up in front of the stage to take pictures. Those seats are officially deemed VIP, and there is plenty of security there to make sure the only people who get into there are ticket holders.

Wow, that's a hell of a lineup!

I don't know that song, I must not be listening to country as much as I think I do.

Oh, does anyone else think the Gary Allen shot looks like Johnny Drama from Entourage? :D

Great shots!
