In the "Members Gallery" this message replaces the photo I successfully uploaded on the portrait gallery. What is the problem causing this? Can I do something? It is the "First Communion" photo that is uploaded in portrait and Event gallery. :confused:

I'm sure John will answer you Liz, but for reference, what I see is that the thumbnail is a gif, where others are a jpg. I wonder if that's the reason? What a beautiful child!

You don't have to reply again....however, the thumbnails on the other threads work - shouldn't they be the same? Whatever.....I'll wait for PJ. Besides, I'm in no rush. :rolleyes:

Thanks for the comment about my little godchild. Believe it or not, she's only 8 years old and btw, a twin - they don't look alike. :)

I don't understand what's going on. I can't see any reason why that image is any different from the others. I tried making a new thumbnail and that didn't change anything. Can you try posting it again? Just delete the one that's up right now and try it again. Let's see if that works. And I'm going to show this to my engineers and see if they have any ideas.

PJ, I have no idea how that happened either, but the properties do list it as a gif. Very strange indeed.

Well one way or another, it's fixed. It is now a jpg and looks fine. ;)

I deleted it......then uploaded it again. I didn't change anything - uploaded the same image from my hd.

Question - I've deleted images before when they have been on more than one thread, and had to delete each one separately. When I deleted this one on the members gallery, it also was deleted in the Events, but not Portrait gallery. It's not an issue - I'm just curious. But I really don't need an answer. heheh :rolleyes:
