BTW,,,what lens did you use?? Jurgen Australia manacsa 06-07-2006, 03:21 PM Awesome, awesome, awesome... I like the homes more than I would seeing a plain ocean horizon. Much more interesting. Tuna zrfraser 06-07-2006, 06:46 PM Tuna amazing work as usual. I love your black and white work and this is one of the better ones I have seen in quite sometime by anyone. I actually like the houses in the bg because it gives it a sense of depth and scale. Great eye! Z Anbesol 06-07-2006, 08:31 PM Awesome work, Im jealous of your consistantly great performance man! ;) awesome angle. Yes I will complain about the houses, and one other minor thing as well - I wish the whole boat, or at least more was captured. Even still, a great capture as usual... Seb 06-07-2006, 09:52 PM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v382/redboys/ABoat147.jpg Tuna, The way the front end of the boat is cut makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable but I still thing that it is a superb photograph. The tones are striking, your post processing is dead on as usual. Seb Overbeyond 06-07-2006, 11:42 PM The boat has taken on the appearance of a cartoon character. Very well positioned in the frame and the houses are just fine. Tom readingr 06-08-2006, 12:54 AM My only problem here is the title - its a ship not a boat. A boat is a small craft which can be carried on a ship. Very unlikely that this would be carried on anything. Other than that its a terrific shot and I wouldn't change a thing. Roger I knew that at some point the seamen would comment on my underwhelming title. Yes,...a ship indeed. Tuna CLKunst 06-08-2006, 01:54 PM WOW!! The curves on the "boat" are almost obscene! Beautiful and impact-ful angle to compose this from. GB1 06-08-2006, 02:54 PM Yeah, the angle looks neat. A Tuna boat? :) The anchors look like eyes. GB yogestee 06-08-2006, 02:58 PM Yeah, the angle looks neat. A Tuna boat? :) The anchors look like eyes. GB At first glance it could be a weird kind of insect or allien!! Jurgen Australia gahspidy 06-09-2006, 09:53 PM Well done, Tuna. Tom said it well when he commented on it taking a cartoonish appearance. Great tones and perspective. |
