I'm getting my prints all ready for an art show, and its my first time matting & framing my work. The art show people have just requested that we use a basic black frame, and I've got a white matte for my prints. I got one of the matte boards dirty, so there is some nice black fingerprints on it, so I flipped it over to the black side and it looks really good with the black matte.

Whats the best way to sign the black matte? I'm debating whether to keep all the 5 prints on the black matte, or have some white and some black.

Its my first art show (Student/teacher art show) and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try a silver metallic marker pen, kind of like a Sharpie. Most craft or office supply stores should have them.

Silver fine sharpies are great for signatures.
We use them for race drivers on carbon fibre

Gives me an idea... Is it waterproof? Does it wear off or come off in the rain? Thanks.
