Hi all i am new here, how is everyone? ? ?

I have recently lost my re-chargeable batteries that i got with my E550, does anyone know where i can get hold of some cheaply? ? ?

Normal batteries take the p*ss with their lifespan once in the camera.

Thanks all.

Gaz.

I've bought some aftermarket batteries for my Nikon Coolpix from both B&H in New York (they will ship to UK) and ebay. The B&H battery is a Digital brand and it works just as good as the OEM Nikon battery for a little more than half the price - think this was the case, it was a few years ago.

The ebay batteries were really cheap and have a much higher rated storage capacity (like 1000ma vs. ~650ma of the Nikon battery). For some reason, they don't last at all - I guess you get what you pay for sometimes...

B&H Photo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=pagination&A=nextPage&Q=&catId=1&compareCatId=1&shs=fuji+battery&ci=1&ac=&al=&mnp=0.0&mxp=0.0&bl=&sb=ps&sq=desc&fi=all&pn=2) Video in New York City.

The link is to the second page of a "Fuji battery" search. Look for the number on the battery itself and they will have a couple of options.

Doesn't the E550 use AA batteries?

Practically any store that sells batteries should have them.
