While waiting for gold finches to land on a feeder, I watched this robin quietly going about its business. I waited until it was just behind a slight droop in the lawn to get a slightly different perspective on such a common subject. Same setup: 2x TC + 70-200 at 200mm

Are these full frame? If so , you are off to a good start.

Paul, I estimate that both of these are about 85% to 90% of full-frame. Thanks.

You might cut your grass while you are waiting for those goldfinches. :D

Great perspective.

Nah, its at my in-laws house and they have a lawn service that does that. I mainly just go there to be a pain in the a#@ :p Now I can go over there to shoot birds - at least it's a little more constructive.

Both are good but I like the second one a little more. It looks like the bird is playing peek-a-boo with you.
