Better you than me :) .... I won't go near a golf course, and in fact turned a job down tomorrow because it was golf.
You did a great job on these though, although I'd go up a step on exposure on most of them.

yeah, JS said it with the exposure. Try working with photoshop a bit more too. Play with levels and curves, and see if you can get these images to pop. Watch your horizons though. Every one of them is crooked. Straight horizons make for much more professional looking photos. Crooked horizons look sloppy and make you look lazy!

I've noticed you mention straight horizons a couple of times, and while I thought I had an idea of what you were refering to, with these shots it would seem that I don't know what you mean by straight horizons.

So what exactly are you refering to when you say "watch your horizons"?

I'm trying to learn better techniques for my own shooting, so I hope it's ok to ask this on this thread.

see the hill in the forerground of the last shot? the top of the hill should be completely horizontal. same with the first two shots. The line between the trimmed grass and longer grass is a good reference point. Notice how it's crooked? again, the line of intersection between both of them should be completely horizontal.

Might need a bit more pop, but overall I think you did a very nice job capturing the action. You are so limited with golf on when and where you can shot that to produce decent image can be a real challenge. The shot with the blooming tree in the background is very nice. I think when you can include something like that when there is no real beating and banging action it enhances your image two fold.
