i couldn't find the introduction forum so i posted here. Hopefully its the right place. Anyways...Whats up! here's a quick bio of myself. i'm 20, planning to become a nurse. i do photo as a hobby. I'm not heavily equiped like many of you here. I work at an after school program and we go on a lot of field trips especially on summer. My boss likes me taking pictures with my point and shoot then it grew into a fun hobby as i got my digital SLR. I came here to learn! I have a Canon 20d with the 18-55mm lense kit. I just bought my first lense the other day...Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6. not a great lense but it works for my budget. I'm am very interested in people's photos, they're fun to look at and analyze as well.
I'm not scared to ask questions either. I'm very humble, i hope everyone does not mind me asking basic questions at times. thanks a head of time. This site is great so far. Feel free to ask me any questions too. :)

Welcome aboard. Nice to have you here on PR. Viewfinder is a general board where introduction are very appropriate. I hope you find this to be a very freindly community of photographers of all skill levels. Feel free to jump right in and join the conversations and post lots of pictures. People here have been very helpful to me as I strive to improve my photgraphic skills and I'm sure you will find the same to be true.

Welcome! You've come to the right place, the Viewfinder is the place to post introductions as well as photos of all kinds. We don't have an introduction forum as such, but we do have a thread with everyone's bios in it: Photographyreview: The People. Feel free to post in there if you like.

Looking forward to your shots.

Welcome Flowermix and don't worry about asking what might appear to you to be basic questions as it is only a disappointment to you if you don't.

Don't think about doing nursing just go and do it. One of very few professions that will allow you to work just about anywhere in the world and travel. It is a great life, but remember to protect your back (back strain) at all times and keep it healthy. Learn from my inconveniences. I am one of a few nurses in these forums.

Welcome to a great place to learn and share.
