I decided to take a few hours down on the river bank whilst away, initially to try and capture a shot of a wren, but this chap decided to make an appearance, i have never seen one in the wild and me being quite excited plus the river being wide, id of liked it a tad sharper, but beggers cant be choosers i suppose.

That is a great find if they are like the weasels, minks and such of the US. I have tried to find minks a few times and still have only seen one in my life for a brief moment.

Bev, can I drive over to Essex and come share your haunts?
You've got some great subjects, well captured.
It's not a weasel, they're weaselly recognised, this one is sotatally different.
God jod he's not a fur-farmed one, they end up stoat couture.
PAul you would be more than welcome, but this stoat was on the River Ouse in Thetford Forest, i am going back for a fortnight at the end of May, and hopefully, stoats have their young in April/May and i will definately be on the lookout for them.
