great shot payn. I think I tighter crop would be nice but dont know if it would work. I was thinking maybe getting rid of the bottom right, for some reason it just takes my attention off the flowers. By the way where are you in Georgia. I'm up in Rome.

Payn...I like the colors here and the angle that you took this...very pretty! I'm a little distracted by the green leaves in the lower righthand corner, but really...I love the middle of that first flower enough that it's okay. :)

Very Nice! I agree with a tighter crop to just outside the lips and then burn in the lighter green areas that are left.

Send some of that spring up this way please.

Maybe a little more color saturation? I'm new at this... I'm also thrilled about spring being here, not quite ready for the sweltering heat though :) You picked a great subject, tulips are so pretty.

I love this as is! The depth that you portrayed with the three flowers is perfect. Love the DOF and the colors are great!

Job well done,

Hi payn,
The angle is good. I just wish the composition were a bit stronger.

Thanks for your thoughts all.

I am not sure what you mean Yoyo, not saying you are wrong, but what do you see as an imporvement in the composition?

Jared, remember when all I posted was horrid flower pics?? :p THANKS!! I appreciate it very much.

I tried to boost the saturation in this, but it removed any detail from the flowers, sure I could do just green channel, but the soft green is kinda neat against the strong red. If the green were stronger, I would think "christmas". Chunk, Emily, Z... your points on the crop are valid, and I may give it a wirl.

Z, yeah i'm in Macon Georgia. It's kinda WAY south of you, about 2 hours. I often shoot in your area though, about every two months, I take a day trip around the area.

Hi payn,
Sorry for the confusion. I wish the two tulips in the background were a bit further from each other and an inverted triangle would form.
