These are some of the images i have caught during the robins courtship. The male would show fluffing of the chest feathers and swaying side to side when another robin was close by.

Overbeyond 04-04-2006, 11:03 AM Dear Bevb These are wonderful bird shots and the mating shot (No 2) is stunningly beautiful. Congratulations. I have just been to your website and there are some brilliant shots there in all sections. Lovely selection of dog shots and stunning landscapes. I would recommend other members here to pay your site a visit. Tom jar_e 04-04-2006, 12:18 PM Bevb, Great shots for all of them! Lovely DOF and the colors are just brilliant! By the way - whats your web address so i can see others? amithi 04-04-2006, 03:38 PM Wow, these birds are beautiful! Your site is very impressive too. I loved the fairy lake shot! And the woods at dawn. Gorgeous pictures. GB1 04-04-2006, 04:20 PM Wow, superb shots! They are excellant. The only suggestion would be for them to be a LITTLE bit sharper.... But they are fine already. Shows what a telephoto can do. GB julsoph 04-04-2006, 07:30 PM Bev, you do such a great job catching these moments...I know I've said that before on a different one of your threads. :) All four of these are really wonderful...the colors of the bird(s) are beautiful...and the second one is a really nice catch. The third picture almost has the feel of an almost uncomfortably personal moment for the birds...lol. Nice job! Emily mpreslar 04-04-2006, 08:03 PM Wonderful detail in these images, especially #2! They are so much smaller than the American Robin! I had never seen pictures of the European variety before. Thank you for posting them! :) LeeIs 04-04-2006, 10:36 PM #3 is hillarious after one reads the title of this thread! Very moody and great DOF :) I don't get that much love from the 1st one. They're all good though. Nice shots. Bevb 04-04-2006, 11:36 PM Truely stunning. As a fellow lover of the Robin i must say that these photo's put mine to shame.
