I took my new Sigma 70-300 lens out for a test spin at the local pond and caught these images. Any thoughts?

IMO I love the uncropped version more. A little more "voyeuristic" and the composition is balanced. Definately an interesting subject and a great subject to shoot!

Great shot! I think they want to be alone...

I agree that the uncropped version is more striking.

Oh this is wonderful, it brings back memories about a goose that was very attached to me, i worked on a farm and he followed me everywhere, he hated other people around me and on numerous occasions he would fly behind my car as i left the farm if he saw me leaving, and i would have to stop and take him back. They are very bonding animals. I think the image is full of feeling.:cool:
