A little too shallow in the DOF for me. The twig (?) on the left hand side seems to fill and cram the frame for me, and also, since the lower portion is purposely out of focus, this seems to distract from the main subject.

The colors are good, a nice contrast, though I would pick your thorn shot compared to this.

I think you missed this one.
The skeletal veins of the decayed leaves will make a good photo on their own.
But not from this angle, and not with that berry in the shot.
I don't think either is strong enough in this image, and they're fighting against each other for attention.
Yet when I look at it though the berry is better it's in an odd place in the image.
