Heh..this is pretty fun, John. :) I think you should make the title "What a difference a day makes" though...

That was my first thought Em...but "I Love Michigan" didn't seem as overused, if you know what I mean.;)

And I thought I was going to see some Wolverines being beaten by some Buckeyes!

Go Bucks!

Great shot...something light and fun. Did you leave the cup out all night? Or did you just fill it up with snow the next morning?!

I like the idea , John. It looks fine. To nit pik, i would have liked to see the snowy cup shot and framed identically to the other, but i guess that is a minor point. It is a good card, and the title is fine by me.

Having grown up in Michigan then moved to Illinois, I would have to say that the sentiment can be applied equally in the majority of the midwest. (We had 67 followed by a low of 32 overnight and a high of 42 today. Though we missed the snow!)

As for the picture, I agree with the framing issue brought up by Gary, but other than that it is a great idea and well executed! :)

Great idea john. It's almost like that here in Toronto minus the snow, a couple of beautiful days and the tempreture drops back down to "normal".

I also agree it that the message would've been stronger had the two shots being identical save for the snow.

Jared-- After seeing the snow on the ground, it just struck me to try that, so I got the cup out and went outside and filled it with snow.

As for the framing of the second shot, you're all correct. It wasn't framed as well as the first. I'm afraid I blew that one, but should I ever have the opportunity again I'll mark the spot in some way to make sure everything lines up accordingly. ;) Definately something to remember.
