Can anyone advise why my pics don't look as sharp after procesing for the web?
They also look kind of "pixelate" and sometimes jaggy.
I usualy reduce the Image to 640 x 480 and apply the Unsharp mask on P/S.
The matter is that the original photo is very sharp until I process and post on the Web.
Can someone help.?

froldan-
I resize for the Web in about 4 steps with two minimal unsharp mask steps. I find that results in a much nicer Web-sized image. Generally, I resize to 2000 pixels, then 1500 with an unsharp mask at Amount: 125; Radius: 0.3; Threshold: 3. Then I resize to 1000 pixels, and finally to 640 pixels with another unsharp mask at the same setting as before. Give that a try and see if you like it better.

Thanks for posting some sailing regatta photos. I like shooting sailing. I've found it's hrad to get reall interesting shots, though. I think you either have to go really wide and include lots of background, or really tight to show the action on the boat. It's hard to frame the whole boat and sail and have it look exciting - unless there's a lot of wind and the boat is really heeled over.
