"My lucious lady lumps!" LOL Adina you listen to as a broad a spectrum of music as I do. Happy B'day btw. We're even! I don't think I have a favorite song right now, which is sad given that I listen to music everyday. We downloaded an acoustic version of David Grey's "Babylon" that I'm loving right now. Search for it if you have Bearshare/Napster etc. adina 02-08-2006, 06:07 AM New ones... See the Sun - Dido Grillz - Nelly As soon as we recover from our last few months, I want XM radio. Although we'll probably have to get walls in our kitchen instead. ken1953 02-08-2006, 08:57 AM Wow...There are so many...but I guess my favorites are Christmas songs...especially "Once upon a Christmas" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, and anything by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Oh and to stay current...I'm starting to get into a little bit of Country...so..."That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!!!" ...hehe...oh...don't remember who it's by!!! Happy Birthday, Adina...we should have gone partying and celebrated on Saturday!!! hehe... Ken adina 02-08-2006, 10:33 AM Happy Birthday, Adina...we should have gone partying and celebrated on Saturday!!! hehe... Ken Hey Thanks! Although if you look closely, this is an old thread. Oh btw...sorry bout the pics...hehe...and Kim is real excited...she's been on looking for all kinds of stuff..hehe..although she was scared of holding it...she fell in love with your camera... We're looking at getting the 20D or the D200...leaning towards the Nikon since we already have one and are getting familiar with the Nikon settings. Ken SmartWombat 02-08-2006, 12:08 PM Walk With Me - The Tea Party Posession - Sarah McLachlan ... yes, it's an all Canadian top two, eh? It'll change later as my mood changes :) walterick 02-13-2006, 06:56 PM OMG I HATE the song "grilz." The ugliest fishion trend to hit the streets since those expensive blue jeans with "dirt" smeared on the front of the legs. There's a country song I like right now but I haven't heard who sings it yet. "She didn't like my music, so she had to go" something like that. Very funny :) We had XM for a while. I miss it sometimes. Don't expect "FM without the commercials" you will definitely be hunting for good songs every once in a while. The bonus to me was having all the upper channel stuff, like 2 comedy stations. Hee hee :) adina 02-14-2006, 05:25 AM OMG I HATE the song "grilz." Very funny :) :) Didn't say I like the look, only the song :) Although I think that ones gotten bumped for that one with Eminem and someone else, something like Shake It. Not 100% sure... I think the one you're thinking of is by Ray Scott, I've heard it, my favorite part is the "ain't no excuse for having taste that bad" part. walterick 02-14-2006, 06:01 AM That's the one :) "She told me she thinks country musics hokey. She said "You can't dance to it, and all the songs are sad." I cocked my eyebrow and said "You must be jokin!" "Ain't no excuse for havin taste that bad." Then I asked her if she'd heard of Alan Jackson. And she said "Didn't he sing that song called 'Where Were You?'" I said "Ya, but girl, that man's a livin' legend." And she said "Really? I thought he was new." |
