Very Nice. Looks like that spider spins barbed wire. :)
Could be improved a little if able to get more of the web against the darker background as the lower part is.

It's a nice subject, but the web is getting lost in the background on my monitor.
Did you take any from different angles?
With the same light on the web, but a darker background, I think it would make the web stand out more.
It's the sky between the tree branches that's the problem.

Very nice. I don't think I've ever seen a real spider web, thanks for the closer look. This also works as an abstract sorta shot. It works for me. Good job.

If one were going on perspective alone, I don't think I wanna see the spider that did this.

Love this image which is saying something because I really do hate spiders.  Even though it works for me as it is, I do think it would make an even stronger statement if it had been composed with the web in front of one of the tombstones. Like swmdrayfan, I am not sure I would want to run into the spider that did this web. :D

one of the most interesting tip ive seen is to put a rectangular box in the middle of your viewfinder. Make it out of construction paper, and frame everything outside of that little box. You will find a drastic improvement in composition. Middle-of-the-frame shots don't look like much more than a snapshot. YOu have great potential in this shot, but this angle and composition doesn't do much.

Very, very cool shot. I love how you have the image framed on the right, rather than going too tight on the web. Nice job

Excellant find here, but you might have missed a really good op: It was between two gravestones you say? Too bad you couldn't get the spider's web AND show the gravestones too! That would be scary... an evil spider laying it's trap between two gravestones! Or at least one full gravestone

Hi pointbreak,
I like the analogy of the web and the trees in the background. They echo to each other very well. I dont think the right rock add much to the shot. Good choice of subjects.

I don't care for bugs either but really like this. Have you tried (or will you try) to darken the bg a bit to see??
