Does anyone know if there is any truth to that rumor? Supposedly they will be releasing it's replacement sometime this year?

That is the million dollar question, but at the moment it is all rumour. Supposedly it is not in stores but all of a sudden there are many more available, it is all a supply problem, keeping up with demand. I waited until near Xmas and then got mine and the rumours then started flying around in the new year, had it happened to me again, just purchased and new camera comes out but hey didn't happen this time.

Obviously there will be a replacement with probably many enhancements to address the masses and that will happen sometime in the near future, when who knows. I like my 10D, it suits me for what I do. The only thing I don't like about it is the x 1.6 factor with my lenses which is pushing me towards getting another wide lens, but I can cope with this at the moment.

was hoping to get a second body by the end of the year, which is why I was curious about that.
