I have recently purchased a 1GB Kingston SD Memory Card.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 4600 digitial camera, but the card appears not to be talking to the camera. When I go into the Menu, it won't allow me to select 'Format'. Does anyone know if there is any way to get them to work together (ie format card in another camera, etc)??

Sounds like you've got nothing to lose, so you could try formatting in another camera or in your PC. If that works, then try formatting in the camera before you shoot with it. If that doesn't work, most cards have lifetime warranties so they should be able to get it to work for you.
