View Full Version : Industrial landscape Seb 12-01-2005, 03:55 PM A continuation of the new series. Seb gahspidy 12-02-2005, 01:01 AM This is just right , Seb. Exposure looks great and I like your composition. Also, the deep DOF really brings the eye towards the rear to explore the many interesting details. Very good addition to your series. dbutler 12-02-2005, 04:28 AM What a wonderful shot! I agree with Gary. And I love the diagonal placement (I'm all about triangles!). I also like how the only "real" color is the red door at the back. It really does draw the eye through the image. readingr 12-02-2005, 05:53 AM Wonderfull, One extremely minor comment - can't decide if the beer can is distracting or not. Roger Chunk 12-02-2005, 06:25 AM Really nice Seb. I like the pools of light and the way the perspective pulls you in. AntLockyer 12-02-2005, 06:54 AM Seb it would appear that you and I share a similar train of thought right now. The wide DOF, the lonely industrial spaces, concrete etc. The shot is great, I'd like to see a large print of it. Overbeyond 12-02-2005, 10:25 AM Great detail throughout Seb especially in the roof space with all those metal trusses. Atmosphere of abandonment well captured. Tom Seb 12-03-2005, 05:52 PM Thank you everyone for the great response. I am pleased to see that my enthusiasm toward the subject is contagious! Gary: Thank you for your support as always. Dbutler: The colors do come out in an unusual way. I guess that it have a lot to do with how the light enter the building by the various holes in the roof, creating warmer luminous spots and darker/colder areas. Roger: Thanks. I have been wondering if I should clone out the can or not but I am not that enthusiastic about manipulations so I ended up leaving it as it was. Chunk: Thanks for the feedback! AntLockyer: You know what they say, great minds think alike lol... Tom: Thanks a lot. Seb AntLockyer 12-03-2005, 11:41 PM The can is in my view an important part of the scene, nothing should be removed, that is what you saw. |
