Is that a daisy?This is a Yellow Salsify according to the Audubon guide, which we always called goatsbeard because of their fluffy seedheads when we treated them as weeds on the farm. They are introduced from Europe.Here are a few more shots. Do you see them out east?

We have a similiar WEED (though in texas it's sold as a flower so my mother told me) called a dandilion
