Mike T 11-07-2005, 05:45 PM Shot this one back in late July, I was sitting next to this stream waiting for birds when a group of deer showed up. These two little ones were having some fun playing in the water. Mike paulnj 11-07-2005, 06:27 PM GREAT image! ACTION ... Mike paulnj 11-08-2005, 05:47 AM Don't quote me but I think he has a 10D /300F2.8 Mike T 11-08-2005, 08:23 AM What a WONDERFUL shot, Mike. Which camera did you use to get this image? Thanks, Paul was almost right I used my Canon 10D and 300mm 2.8 lens with a 2X extender. The camera was in the AV mode wide open at 5.6 the shutter speed was 1/1000 at ISO 400. I had the ISO higher than I wanted but some of the area I was watching was very shaded so I needed it at 400. The picture is cropped slightly, there were a couple of deer heads on the left that I cut out, one I would guess was mom. There was also a young buck with them that was closer to me that was really checking me out so I had to move very slowly while getting the pictures. Mike babaji 11-09-2005, 03:22 PM Great shots of dear. I love the one of the two playing in the water. That needs to be printed 20x30 and hung on the wall. Incredible shot. shane |
